The new Rowplanter is a modern approach to the traditional system used by experienced gardeners, for generations whereby long lengths of guttering was used to giv vegetables and other row crops a head start. This method allowed rows of plants to be transplanted into prepared trenches, ready spaced out and with no disturbance.
With the new easy-to-use Rowplanter, lengths can be sown and propagated in this handy pack, providing half a metres worth of planting, no matter how limited your space may be.
When the young plants are ready for the garden or plot, gently slide the complete contents from the manageable Rowplanter lengths into the prepared trench.
The rows are reusable many times over.
The Rowplanter is ideal for sowing a succession of crops such as peas, lettuce, radish, mustard and cress, bedding plants and various herbs.
The advantages of the Rowplanter are that it allows you to:
- sow and grow in a row
- slide out a row of plants with no root disturbance
- transplant rows of vegetables or bedding plants direct to the garden, trough or window box
- give plants a head start
- and plant a succession of rows
1 Case of base Trays, 1 case of Rows and 1 case of lids will be sufficient to make up 100 trays at a cost of £1.75 each.
